It was in 1977 in Bucharest that Banica father opened his workshop-store as a manufacturer and designer of jewelry. Along the way, he became a trader in precious stones and diamonds for the Romanian market with diamond dealers in Antwerp. The story unfortunately ends in 1988 following his death.
Nearly 20 years later, in 2007, his son, Iulian Banica, moved to Brussels as a jewelry manufacturer and designer.
Fascinated from a young age by the infinite possibilities of transforming noble metals, by the shimmer of precious stones, by his father's sketches, and by the purity and beauty of the final jewel, Iulian immerses himself body and soul in the secrets of the trade after obtaining his baccalaureate. He then obtains the jeweler's certificate at the end of his studies and his internship.
Iulian employs a wide range of gemstones such as emerald, sapphire, ruby, tanzanite, as well as the highest quality diamonds, to create handmade jewelry that is more exquisite than the next.
The influence of Art Nouveau embellished by his personal vision and his finesse in the choice of fascinating precious stones results in a unique collection in terms of design and quality.
At the age of 42, the jewelry artisan in Belgium Iulian Banica has established himself as a full-fledged artist, devoting himself to his passion and frequently exhibiting his creations in galleries and shops both in our region and in the foreigner.
His numerous collaborations with renowned jewelers from Brussels have made his workshop a benchmark in the field.
